Weekend Update

They say absence makes the heart grow fonder and that may be true...
but so does spending spending every minute of the weekend together. ;)

Had a yummy brunch

and lunch

P reorganized "the office" and now there is room for the treadmill we will hopefully have some day!

I baked these adorable cupcakes pops!



We took Tuckmeister on an eventful walk where I had my legs knocked out from underneath me and from there I proceeded to stand in a ant hill inhabited by nasty little fireants who took it upon themselves to bite both of my feet!
Today they are red and swollen and just plain nasty looking!
It's okay though, because we can look back and laugh about it!

We saw Star Trek which was absolutely amazing!!! Hands down best movie I've seen in years! I kinda even want to go see it again!

Went out to eat with P's parents for Mother's Day @ Positano in Birkdale. I tried lamb shank for the first time (I'm bad I know mom!) but am happy to report it was just OK so I won't be craving it anytime soon!

We then capped off the evening with the finale of Amazing Race. We have 'fantasy teams' for all of our favorite reality shows (Amazing Race, Survivor, Hells Kitchen, American Idol) and whoever has the winning team/person gets a prize.
I guess I'm happy to report that P won a remote controlled airplane last night!
